I’ve always been drawn to poetry that brings an experience into sharper focus. Outside of design, I’m a writer obsessed with finding the metaphor and tone that best captures a story. Eventually, I wanted to bring those instincts beyond the page and shape how an experience is understood and felt. That led me to design at the University of Washington, where I earned a bachelor’s in Interaction Design and have been bringing storytelling and novel thinking into my work at Goodnotes, PayPal,  US Bank, and various startups
